Species: Xylica oedematosa (PSG 234).
Common Name: None
Size: Maximum: Males, 5cm. Females,
6cm.
Breeding: Sexual
Eggs: These are dropped to the floor.
Food: Bramble.
Humidity: Medium. Spray every two or three days.
Comments: This is a relatively easy species to
keep. They are pea green and pretty. They are easily
handled, undemanding and a good addition to any collection.
They are said to emit an odour similar to apples, although I
have not noticed this yet. Adults are wingless and would
seem to mate a lot of the time!
